Que Ngoc Hai suffered a rolled ankle injury
In a ball phase trying to block Phan Van Duc, midfielder Que Ngoc Hai suffered a ankle injury and was diagnosed with a break of at least 2 weeks.
Que Ngoc Hai and Viettel players had a trip to Vinh Stadium in the round of 10 V-League 2020. For the center-back, this was a meaningful game when he was facing SLNA club, his hometown team and also the place helped him started his career.
In this match, Viettel Club won with a score of 2-1 thanks to the goals of Duy Thuong and Duc Chien. Meanwhile the only goal scorer on the SLNA side was Ho Tuan Tai.
However, Viettel's victory was not really complete when Que Ngoc Hai suffered a serious injury. In the second half, the captain of the Vietnam national team suffered a pain in his left leg and had to leave the pitch on a stretcher, after which he was withdrawn by coach Truong Viet Hoang.
According to initial diagnosis, the 27-year-old midfielder got rolled ankle and is likely to take at least 2 weeks to fully recover. If this happens, Que Ngoc Hai will probably be absent in the remaining 3 matches of Phase 1 V-League 2020.
Que Ngoc Hai's performance in recent matches is not really impressive. He has not shown the leadership qualities as when wearing the Vietnam national team. Coach Park Hang-seo also spoke about Hai's decline. Hopefully after recovering from injury, Que Ngoc Hai will return to the highest form.
