Duy Manh's injury is progressing quite well, but Hanoi FC's center-back still cannot move at high intensity.
Duy Manh was injured in the 2020 National Super Cup match between Hanoi FC and Ho Chi Minh City Club. He was forced to perform surgery in Singapore and was diagnosed with 9-10 months of recovery.
In early April, Do Duy Manh was at PVF Center to start the training process. There, Duy Manh reunited with his teammates including Xuan Truong, Dinh Trong and Huy Hung.
Hanoi FC announced: “At present, Duy Manh is practicing recovery in PVF. Duy Manh practices 4 hours a day with exercises such as cycling, water activities. Despite walking normally, Duy Manh has not been able to operate at high intensity ”.
Hanoi FC is facing a serious crisis in the defense. Not only Do Duy Manh has to take a long-term suspension, Tran Dinh Trong also recurs the injury in early March and is expected to take 3 months off.
The lack of a central defender duo can be one of the major reasons leading to the loss of Hanoi FC to Than Quang Ninh in the second round of V-League 2020. The Capital team uses defender duo Dinh Tien Thanh and Bui Hoang Viet Anh in this match, now both have also suffered injuries.
