Sirisak Yodyardthai is so confident on his side to win over Vietnam yet he asks his men to practice penalty skills just in case they fail to materialize his expectation.

Thai NT is in full swing to set up for the game in Buriram in the previous days. Setting a goal to knock out Vietnam raises their motivation in King’s Cup this year. The goal is also Sirisak Yodyardthai’s desire which he emphasized in the previous interviews.

The latest talking to the press, the 50-year-old coach once again showed his confident but also well considers Vietnam NT.

“As we all see, Vietnam has a generation of talented players growing up together, having great desires and holding determinations to beat Thailand. Vietnam is owning such qualified men as goalie Dang Van Lam, players Cong Phuong, and Quang Hai. They are very skilled so we need to be cautious.’

“We will win the game in 90 minutes but still practice penalty in case of necessity.”

Thailand is taking losses of personnel ahead of King’s Cup. Chanathip left a blank in the striker line due to his injury, while Teerasil and Adisak are in poor forms, leading to the decision to summon Suphanat, a fellow of Xuan Truong in Buriram.

"I have followed Suphanat for a long time at Thai League and also AFC Champions League. He also knows how to steal the show and he is the future of Thai football. It would be difficult to give him an official starting slot in King’s Cup but I will make use of the player suitably.”
