Recently, Vietnam U23 led by Coach Park had snatched huge victories in AFC U23 Championship 2020 and secured a ticket to the Finals happening early next year in Thailand.

Coach Park’s troops mostly were born in 1997 and earlier. These are the key forces of Vietnam U22 participating in SEA Games 30 occurring at the end of this year in Philippines.

Bui Tien Dung is one of them who is the first choice of Park Hang-seo for the list of Vietnam U23s. Remaining as the Coach of Vietnam U22s for SEA Games, it is unsurprised if Coach Park continues to pick out Bui Tien Dung for being the one responsible for keeping a clean sheet.

Fans have high hopes of Park Hang-seo’s side for actualizing the SEA Games Gold medal's dream of Vietnam because U22 Vietnam is having such impressive players who also determines to do their best to bring the Gold medal of the Asian Games back for the home country.

Bui Tien Dung shared: From the period of international integration, Vietnam has never gained SEA Games’ gold medal. Fans and players never stop wishing for the moment lifting up the trophy. This year, we all ache for making the wish come true.”

“It is really hard to tell who is the strongest opponent of Vietnam in this game. The space-levels of Asia teams are shortening very much. Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia are also the tough ones yet Thailand seems to be the most dangerous opponent of Vietnam.

However, Vietnam team pays Thailand respect but we do not afraid of them. I am quite lucky when facing Thailand with the results are winning more than losing.

I did not forget the disheartening moment when sitting on the bench and seeing my mates losing to Thailand in 2017 yet. I do not want it to recur this year. I really desire to play out and burn myself out to achieve the award-winning for Vietnam in my last joining SEA Games.

Coach Park Hang-seo once said he needed 5 weeks to prepare for the SEA Games’ gold medal and his demand was met. VFF and VPF recently have changed the domestic fixtures to give the best conditions for Vietnam U22’s planning.
