Midfielder Tran Dinh Trong says Vietnam clash against Thailand or any team in King’s Cup is not as important as Vietnamese players’ confidence.

Tran Dinh Trong could not hide his tears after suffering a serious injury in the face against Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC. The injury might take away 2019 King’s Cup opportunity from him.
While 2019 King’s Cup is set to kick off in few days, Park Hang-seo took bad news from Tran Dinh Trong who is facing the risk of bidding a farewell to Vietnam NT in 2019 King’s Cup race as he got significant pain right before the gathering day.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai faced Ha Noi FC in the match wherein Tran Dinh Trong collided with striker Chevaugh Walsh of the host team in the 38th of the first half. Joining a disputing situation which was not so dangerous, Dinh Trong was spat out and fell off the ground wrongly, making him collapsed and suffered such an utmost pain.
This accident might cause a ligament problem for Dinh Trong. He embraced his face and sobbed violently then he was carried out of the field by a first aid stretcher. Chu Dinh Nghiem had no choices but sent Thanh Trung into the field to take over Dinh Trong’s duties.
If Dinh Trong can not gear up with the national team including 23 players in this campaign, it would be a regrettable loss to Park Hang-seo and Vietnam NT ahead of the competition against Thai NT in the kick off 2019 King’s Cup match of Vietnam.
