'Cong Phuong is flexible and has the most impressive foresight', Korean Press says

Having Daegu FC in K. League Round 5, Coach Jorn Andersen appointed Cong Phuong to be the key player playing out the whole game. Even though Cong Phuong went all out in the game but he could not score a goal to save his team failure.

It had been a zealous show of Cong Phuong who received so many praises from the Korean press. Sports Seoul believes that Cong Phuong is the most perceptive good player of Incheon United.

They wrote about Cong Phuong: “In the match against Daegu FC, Cong Phuong was thrown into the team right from the start. He worked quite well in the offensive line and moved flexibly and coordinated with Mugosa.

Instead of being stable in a position, Cong Phuong liberated himself and moved out freely. Therefore, the Vietnamese striker created numerous good passes for his teammates especially his perfect assist at the 6th minute but Mugosa missed it out or the situation in which Cong Phuong passed through to 2-3 opponents at the 40th minute.

Cong Phuong showed that he is a softest player and has the best vision at Incheon United. Although he played his best, he could not gain a point.

Incheon uses playing the long ball in two wings static wherein Cong Phuong could not express his ability. As a result, it was not Cong Phuong who was to blame for the team losing but the strategy’s problem.

Cong Phuong has improved the physical weakness when he was capable of playing the whole 90 minutes without going down. He even actively turned back to support the defense. That was one positive thing about the match."

Coach Jorn Andersen also recognized Con Phuong’s better movement in the game. He appraised that show was the best extraordinary match from the time he played for Incheon United.

He said: “Cong Phuong played impressively and stood out of the whole formation. He played out for the whole team and showed his positivity. Before the match, he was supposed to play under Mugosa yet in the match, the situation had changed and he had to back to the Midfield line. Cong Phuong supported defense line very well. I really love the way he played.”
