Thai newspaper: ‘We will revenge Vietnam in 2022 World Cup Qualifications’
Thai press believes that Sirisak Yodyardthai’s side might have a chance to revenge Vietnam NT in 2022 World Cup Qualifications.
27 players summoned to Vietnam NT for 2022 World Cup Qualifiers

The Secretary-General of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) revealed that Park Hang-seo is planning to call up only 27 footballers ahead of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
Recently, it is notable that a VFF leader unveiled the number of players called up by Park Hang-seo ahead of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
Responding to Tuoi Tre newspaper, Mr. Le Hoai Anh shared:
"It is only allowed 23 players to register each match of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, so Mr. Park, in each gathering, will only call up 27 players to sort out conveniently. For U23 Vietnam NT specifically, there are 30 names will be caped each session, rostering list of September will be expanded and will not be just 30 players in the clash against U23 Myanmar.
Because both U23 and National team are set to gather on FIFA Day held at the beginning of September, October, and November so Kim Han Yoon is managed to continue taking care of U23 Vietnam, Park Hang-seo is arranged to coach Vietnam NT to contend for World Cup Qualifiers.”
Vietnam NT rostering list will be filled by the names from King’s Cup 2019 namely Van Lam, Ngoc Hai, Duy Manh, Van Hau, Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong, Quang Hai, Duc Huy, Anh Duc, Hung Dung, Trong Hoang… as well as from U23 such as Hoang Duc, Martin Lo, Trieu Viet Hung, and Nguyen Tien Linh.
Mr. Le Hoai Anh also has confirmed that Vietnam NT will undergo domestic training session ahead of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. However, VFF has planned to invite Asian teams for joining friendlies with U23 Vietnam and to bring Kim Han Yoon abroad for training.
With the exploits in King's Cup 2019, Vietnam NT will be no doubt to surpass Jordan NT to escalate into 97th ranking in the world and 15th in Asia. This place will secure the 'Golden Dragon' a slot in the seed group 2 at the Asian zonal of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers to be held on July 17 in Qatar.
