Vietnamese fans must buy expensive tickets in World Cup 2022 qualifying match in Thailand
Vietnamese fans will buy more expensive tickets than Thai supporters in World Cup 2022 qualifier.
FAT announced the ticket price for the Vietnam vs Thailand match in the World Cup 2022.
Ticket prices for Thailand vs Vietnam match include:
- Stand A: 500 bath (about 380,000 VND)
- Stand B: 350 bath (about 260,000 VND)
- Stands C and D: 200 baht (about VND 150,000)
- Stand D for Vietnamese fans: 650 baht (about 490,000 VND)
Accordingly, Vietnamese fans must pay 30% higher than Thailand’s. Despite the expensive tickets, Vietnam is arranged to sit in the stand D (with the worst view of a stadium). Moreover, Vietnam only has 2000 tickets for the match according to FIFA regulations.
The match between Thailand and Vietnam will take place at Thammasat. The stadium contains 20,000 seats and meets standard demand of FIFA.
According to the schedule of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, Vietnam will face Thailand on September 5.
