Cong Phuong is selected to face Club Brugge

Speaking with Vietnamese media, Vietnam forward Cong Phuong has shared of first challenges in training and integration with the Belgium team.
Since joining the Sint-Truidense, Cong Phuong showed quick integration into the new environment. He often appears in his teammates’ posts as well as training for the new season. Phuong was listed in the selection for the opening match of the new season, however, it is not easy to conquer the new challenge in Europe.
There are barriers of language, tactical thinking, and in the video from VTV, the 24-year-old shared: “I think I should enhance my level as well as blend in with new teammates”.
“There are some exercises that I could not understand fully through the coach so I should improve it day by day. I have to learn more and I am doing it to be better”.
He also affirms his goal in Sint-Truidense: “Having a slot in the lineup is my priority”.
Cong Phuong was not given a start in the lost to Royal Excel Mouscron, Vietnam supporters are keeping high hope on him being given to the field in the next matc against Club Brugge on August 3. The technical passes are the basis for Cong Phuong to create a surprise for the home team.
