The goals of Heberty and Aung Thu helped Muangthong Utd defeat visiting Ratchaburi.
At Round 20 Thai League 2019, Muangthong Utd Club welcomed Ratchaburi on SCG home ground. The Kirins still released the strongest lineup with Van Lam, Derley, Heberty or Chappuis.
By having its home advantage, Muangthong United has actively played attacking. This daring tactic helped the SCG home team to have an early opening goal in the second minute.
Later, Muangthong Utd continued to control the game and created many turbulent situations towards the visiting team. However, no goal was scored.
Entering the second half, Ratchaburi actively pushed up the squad to seek a goal. They constantly threatened Muangthong net but Van Lam great saves erased every opportunity of the opponent
Ratchaburi's efforts were extinguished when Slangil received the second yellow card and was disqualified by the referee in the 64th minute. The advantage helped the home side get the second goal thanks to Aung Thu in the 80th minute.
Before the match ended, Ratchaburi scored an honorary goal thanks to Jun Soo in the 86th minute. Eventually, Muangthong United won 2-1.
