AFF U15 Championship 2019: Timor Leste takes top spot after their win over Myanmar

Vietnam got its first win in the AFC U15 Championship 2019 on Monday with a 3-1 victory over Philippines on Chonburi Campus in Thailand. However, Timor Leste takes top spot in group A after 2 matches.
Vietnam lost to the defending champions Indonesia 0-2 in the opening match of group A. However, Vietnam came back with an easy win over the Azkals.
Pham Van Phong opened the scoring for Vietnam in the 24th minute and Cai Van Quy scored a brace in the second half. Harry James Munes got a goal to minimize the scoring in the last mminutes.
While, Indonesia pulled off the second win with their 3-0 triumph over Singapore.
Marselino Ferdinan, Wahyu Agong Drajat Mulyono and Mochamad Faizal Shaifullah were the scorers of Indonesia side which was led by coach Bima Sakti and looked for the second title in ASEAN.
However, Timor Leste is temporarily group winner with a 3-1 win over Myanmar.
Timor Leste defeated Philippines 7-1 in the opening match and took full 3 points in the second game. Alexandro Kefi scored a hattrick while Lat Wai Phone got an honor goal for Myanmar. Currently, Timor has 6 points, with goal difference +8. Indonesia sits second with 6 points, goal difference +5.
