Mac Hong Quan and Nghiem Xuan Tu had the sharing after the first training session with new teammates in Hai Phong.
Mac Hong Quan, Nghiem Xuan Tu and Fagan are new recruits of Hai Phong in the second phase of the V.League 2020.
Fagan was called back by the Port team after lending to Than Quang Ninh in the first half of the season. Meanwhile, Mac Hong Quan and Nghiem Xuan Tu were appointed "reinforcements" for Hai Phong.
Immediately after the 11th round of the 2020 V.League, the three quickly left Than Quang Ninh to join forces with Hai Phong and have the first training session with new teammates. Mac Hong Quan has revealed his goal with the new team for the rest of the season. Vietnamese-Czech striker shared: "I am a professional player. It is obvious that when the coaching team decides to help Hai Phong, I feel I need to do something new in my career, as well as to help Hai Phong.
Not only Hai Phong, but other teams are well prepared in the near future. My goal is to help Hai Phong stay in the league. I want to remind you that Tu and I will try to integrate very quickly so Hai Phong can accomplish its goals. "
Hai Phong is ranked penultimate on the list with 10 points, only 2 points higher than Quang Nam. Remarkably, the port team has only scored 5 goals, the least in V.League.
However, Nghiem Xuan Tu said that this is not a big problem. Tu "horse" aims to create a new breeze for the Hai Phong’s attack.
"Hai Phong's attack is not weak. All are old names playing in V-League for many years. However, they have not had good luck in recent times. They played very well but have not been lucky in the final stage. In the near future, I hope Quan, Tu and Fagan will bring new wind to Hai Phong's attack. "
"Hai Phong has 10 points, only inferior to teams above 3.4 points. V.League is like that. 1 to 2 wins will be different. In football, there must be new pressure. With determination, I think the pressure of achievement as well as from the fans will help us to be more motivated, " emphasized Quan.
The 2020 V.League has been postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Therefore, Mac Hong Quan and Nghiem Xuan Tu will have more time to integrate with the new team.
