The most valuable ones in Vietnam are Ho Chi Minh City FC ( €1,25 million) and Hanoi FC ( €1,15 million). However, their value is still far behind Top 10 in ASEAN.
According to Transfermarkt, the 10th most expensive ASEAN club is Indonesian side Persib Bandung FC (€ 4,6 million), which is 4 times higher than Ho Chi Minh City’s.
Worth mentioning, the total price of all V-League teams is among the lowest in Asia with only 7.18 million. This is a far cry from Thailand (€72.58 million), Indonesia (€59.08 million) and Malaysia (€32.58 million).
The most pricey team is Bangkok United (Thailand) with €8,25 million. These teams includes many Thailand internationals, namely Tristan Do, Manuel Bihr. Of the top 10, there are up to 7 Thai clubs, three of which takes top sports: Bangkok United, Buriram United and Port FC respectively.
Indonesia also contributes two representative: 4th-ranked Bali United and 10th-ranked Persil Bandung.
The other representative in the top 10 most expensive clubs in Southeast Asia is Johor Darul Takzim from Malaysia. This giant club is in 4th place with 6.93 million euros.
