Thailand's number one goalkeeper, Kawin Thamsatchanan, is likely to follow his teammate Chanathip Songkrasin to Consadole Sapporo.

Specifically, information from Thai press said that recently, Kawin has received an offer to move to J-League.

The reason Consadole Sapporo wants to recruit Kawin Thamsatchanan is because in the near future, they will not be able to get the service of Gu Seong-yun, the 25-year-old goalkeeper   must join the army under the Korean military service law.

“The details of this deal are still under negotiation. I, like everyone else, am still waiting for official information,” Kawin said in an interview.

Kawin Thamsatchan could move to Sapporo in the 2020 season.

Earlier, in 2018, the 30-year-old goalkeeper moved to play for Oud-Heverlee Leuven (Belgium) from Muangthong United for 50 million baht.

However, Kawin has not been used too much in Belgium, after more than two seasons here, this goalkeeper has just played 19 matches and was benched.

If moved to Consadole Sapporo, Kawin Thamsatchanan will have the opportunity to reunite with his close teammate Chanathip Songkrasin.

After 4 years playing for Sapporo, Chanathip is now a pillar of the midfield of this team, in 2018 he was also voted the best player in the club and was named in the the Best Lineup of the tournament.

At this time, Chanathip Songkrasin is having the highest transfer value in the Japanese team, Messi Thai value increased to 2.4 million euros.

Another Thai player who is also very successful in the J.League is left-back Theerathon Bunmathan, he is the first Southeast Asian player to have won the Japan National Championship with Yokohama Marinos in 2019.
