Thanh Hoa FC president said that if V-League 2020 is delayed too long, VPF and VFF should have plans to provide economic support for the participating teams.
The second V-League 2020 has to be postponed because COVID-19, which makes the teams struggling because of financial problems. The clubs have no revenue. Meanwhile, they have to bear huge amounts of money until the tournament is over.
Therefore, many teams have proposed to finish V-League 2020 early after 11 rounds. Sharing about this, Thanh Hoa FC president said: "If the pandemic lasts until the end of the year, the tournament cannot be stable, the VFF organizers and leaders must have a real calculation. The organizers want the tournament to continue, who will support the teams?
A match takes place, if the total tickets price is higher than 100 million. However, many things have to be spent, from employee money to hiring bodyguards, thanks to the support of police, all is very expensive.
I made a petition to the organizers, I still have to depend on the actual situation at the end of the petition. But I think, leaders must be aware of the situation to avoid the loss and financial waste of the participating teams. "
On the afternoon of August 2, Thanh Hoa officially joined again to train and maintain the physical strength and wait for the V-League 2020 to continue. Currently after 11 rounds, Thanh Hoa is ranked 8th with 14 points and has the opportunity to reach the top of the teams competing for the championship in phase 2 of the V-League 2020.
