Returning after the injury, Phan Van Duc has a great determination to attend major tournaments with Vietnam in 2020.
After a very long time to treat ligament injury, Phan Van Duc has officially returned to football in the first two rounds of the V.League 2020. Van Duc still showed his scoring skill with the only goal to bring SLNA's victory in the last round.
With this goal, Phan Van Duc hopes to impress coach Park Hang-seo and to be called to Vietnam NT and attend international tournaments in 2020. This is also the biggest goal of Nghe An-born striker now.
Share with the media, Phan Van Duc said:
"Currently my performance has returned to 90%. The practice will be better if I can play regularly. However, the coach will arrange a reasonable amount of time so that I can ensure my physical strength as well as my feet.
Duc has put a lot of effort in the past, hoping coach Park Hang-seo will summon and create opportunities for Duc to contribute to the Vietnamese team. In the team, competition in each position is natural so currently Duc just wants to work and show the desire to return."
Phan Van Duc is a hard-working player of Park Hang-seo in Vietnam NT. Being discovered and had a bright performance at the U23 Asian Cup 2018, Van Duc became a mainstay in the national team. He has contributed significantly to the AFF Cup 2018 championship, as well as the achievement of reaching the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup 2019 of Vietnam.
The return of Phan Van Duc will help Coach Park Hang-seo to have more choices for the offensive line, in the upcoming important matches of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Asia, as well as the AFF Cup 2020.
