Before the return of V.League, the Hanoi club brought good news to fans about the injury situation of central-backTran Dinh Trong.
Tran Dinh Trong broke his knee ligament in the match against HAGL nearly 1 year ago. The center-back Hanoi had to go to Singapore for trauma surgery and missed the rest of the 2019 season. After half a year of treatment, Dinh Trong re-appeared at the AFC U23 Championship finals in 2020 and had a relatively good performance.
Perhaps the early return to training made Dinh Trong relapse and had to continue treatment at the PVF center. During a follow-up visit in Singapore in early March, the doctor diagnosed with a hygienist in 1997 had to rest for at least another 2-3 months.
Last night (May 14), the Capital team updated about the injury situation of Tran Dinh Trong:
"Center-back Tran Dinh Trong is rehabilizing at the center of PVF. Currently, the recovery process of Dinh Trong is going quite well. Wish Dinh Trong would soon return to contribute to the Hanoi Club."
This is definitely good news not only for Hanoi fans but also for Park Hang-seo, especially in the context that Duy Manh will have to quit the game until the end of the year because of a ligament injury.
Hanoi FC lost 5/6 center-backs due to injury, Dinh Trong's soon return will bring peace of mind for Chu Dinh Nghiem in the defense. In the first 2 rounds, the V-League champions conceded 5 times, the highest in the tournament.
According to the schedule of the National Cup, Hanoi champions will face Dong Thap / Hai Phong on May 30. The V.League 2020 will return on June 5 with a focus on the match between Hanoi and HAGL on Hang Day stadium
