After 5 matches in World Cup 2022 Asian qualifiers, Malaysia is ranked second with 9 points, following 1st- placed Vietnam with 11 points.
Thereby, the upcoming match will be an important one for both teams to decide the advancement to the next round. Malaysia football federation (PSSI) arranged a friendly match with Bahrain to prepare for the great match.
Bahrain is ranked 99th on FIFA table, who just crowns the championship in the Arabian Gulf Cup 2019. This will be a quality test for Malaysia.
Park once shared about this match, “We will look forward to the match against Malaysia in March. That is important and we will try to win that match.”
Malaysia will have another friendly match against Kuwait to prepare for the match against Thailand on June 6.
