Malaysia is facing many difficulties in the preparation for 2 World Cup qualifiers against UAE and Vietnam.
World Cup 2022 Qualifiers in Asia will officialy come back on March 26. Malaysia will have two crucial match against two direct rivals UAE and Vietnam, which will decide their ambition in the next round of Tan Cheng Hoe’s side.
However, the preparation of Malaysia for World Cup could face many challenge since Bahrain announces their cancellation on the friendly match with Malaysia on March 21.
FAM, then, quickly finds another rival for Malaysia. It is said that they send request to Buhtan, Qatar, palestine, Saudi Arabia and Oman. All the teams have not replied due to the complex development of Covid-19.
UAE and Vietnam are fomidable. They both defeated Malaysia in the first leg of World Cup qualifiers. Thereby, Tan Cheng Hoe should calculate carefully to win favorable outcome in these two matches.
Malaysia is currently ranked second in group G with 9 points, following 1st Vietnam. Tan Cheng Hoe will travel to UAE on March 26 before taking on Vietnam at their home Bukit Jalil stadium on March 31.
