Legend Kiatisak: 'I still love HAGL'
Thai legend Kiatisak Senamuang insists he still remembers and loves Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club.
Recently, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club opened the poll 'The most favorite striker in the history of the team' with 6 candidates including Nguyen Minh Hai (2001-2005), Kiatisak (2002-2006), Agostinho Oliveira (2007-2008), Evaldo Goncalves (2009-2013), Oseni (2013) and Nguyen Cong Phuong (2015, 2017, 2018).
After 2 days of voting, striker Nguyen Cong Phuong leads with the highest votes, followed by Thai legend Kiatisak Senamuang. The former head coach of 'War Elephants' was very surprised when he still received much love from HAGL fans.
Kiatisak shared: "HAGL has been a part of my career history. I always love my old club and I am really surprised that many fans remember me. It's warm".
Bau Duc shocked Southeast Asia by bringing ‘Thai Zico’ to HAGL in 2002. Cong Phuong may surpass in fans' favorite, but Kiatisak is definitely the best striker in Pho Nui football team history.
After 75 appearances for HAGL, the legend scored 59 goals and helped the team win the V.League in the 2003 and 2004 seasons; Champion of the National Super Cup in 2003 and 2004 seasons; Rank 3 for the Southeast Asia Club Cup in 2005 season.
