Le Cong Vinh: ‘In my whole career, I have been finally acknowledged’
Le Cong Vinh expressed his happiness when being voted by the Asia Football Confederation (AFC) into the group of 5 Southeast Asian football legends.
"It's hard to express my true feelings. Football is a 4-sided stage, so I cannot hide anything," Le Cong Vinh said emotionally, after learning that he was classified as a football legend by AFC
In addition to Le Cong Vinh, other football legends to be honored include Kiatisak (Thailand), Soh Chin Aun (Malaysia), Bambang Pamungkas (Indonesia) and goalkeeper Neil Etheridge (Philippines). They are expected to accompany together at the Fantasyfive program organized by AFC next time.
Every player makes every effort on the pitch. However, not everyone can achieve success. Cong Vinh understands this. He thinks that he is lucky to have achieved so much success.
"The football stage is very harsh. However, if the players are devoted and have outstanding achievements, they will be recognized in many different ways. I feel lucky to be a player. and put on the shirt of Vietnam team," former Nghe player confided.
