Indonesian newspaper ‘curses’ coach Park Hang-seo and Vietnam

The past two years (2018 and 2019) can be considered the most successful time in the history of Vietnamese football. Since coach Park appeared, he has helped Vietnam egded Thailand to become the No. 1 team in Southeast Asia with the championship at the AFF Cup 2018 and the SEA Games 30.

The Indonesian newspaper gloated with the AFC penalty for Park. The Korean strategist will be banned from managing in 4 friendly matches of Vietnam, along with a $ 5,000 fine. This penalty will more or less affect the preparation of Vietnam for the upcoming 2022 Asian Cup qualifier in Asia.

"Vietnamese football is facing a crisis and could fall into a dark period after a very heavy penalty that AFC imposed on Park Hang-seo. The penalty was announced after AFC investigated the red card that the coach of Vietnam must receive in the final of the 30th SEA Games against Indonesia.

Although Park won 3-0, he overreacted to the referee and was sent out of the technical area. After receiving a red card, Park Hang-seo continued to sarcasm before moving to the stands.

The Vietnamese media questioned why AFC intervened in a tournament not under its management. But the sentence has been given, Park will have to abide. Vietnamese football will face many difficulties with this incident ".

Not only the punishment of Park, it is likely that Vietnam will not be able to play friendly against Iraq on March 26 as Iraq is concerned about the complicated development of Corona Virus in Vietnam.

If this match is canceled, it will be very difficult for the Vietnam Football Federation to arrange a worthy opponent to play in a friendly match when the match against Malaysia is coming close.
