Anh Duc: 'I am having a lot of difficulties when I play again'

Nguyen Anh Duc made his debut for HAGL in a match against Thanh Hoa in the 11th round of V-League 2020. The veteran striker came off the bench in the 66th minute to replace Tran Minh Vuong. However, he could not help HAGL to win over the opponent.

Sharing after the game, Anh Duc said: "After a long time without playing, I have many difficulties coming back. Physical strength does not matter, but my feeling of the ball is not good. This must slowly regain , by just playing the game. I am personally satisfied with what I show. The result is good. As a guest, the coaching staff set a goal with a score of at least one. And we have completed that target.”

Many experts say Anh Duc was taken to HAGL to substitute for Chevaughn Walsh. However, coach Lee Tae-hoon decided to combine the duo, with Anh Duc playing as a striker and a Jamaican foreign soldier playing a bit to the left.

However, both players on the attack of HAGL could not find a common voice and played deadlock against Thanh Hoa. Mr. Duc said: "I have just returned, so I have a brief discussion with Walsh. I feel we can communicate with each other."

Despite not leaving many imprints, Anh Duc still received compliments from coach Lee Tae-hoon. The Korean leader was impressed with his ability to integrate quickly after only 9 days in Pleiku. With his level, Anh Duc promises to help HAGL improve the ability to score goals in the near future.
