Shin Tae-young faces difficulties with Indonesia team

Coming to Indonesia to work, coach Shin Tae Yong is expected to revive the football industry in this country after the bad achievements recently.

Shin Tae Yong's mission will be to lead 3 teams U19, U23 and the national team. Recently, the U19 Indonesia team received three consecutive defeats against the Korean teams. On February 9, coach Shin Tae Yong will summon with the Indonesian team to prepare for matches in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

In a recent interview with Sportal Korea, the coach who used to manage Korea at the 2018 World Cup acknowledged certain difficulties in working in Indonesia. The reason is that he is having to spend his time on many teams, including the Indonesian U19 team, who will attend the U20 World Championship at home next year.

One more problem is the language barrier that makes it difficult for him to convey tactics to the players. Despite receiving the dedicated support from 2 assistants Sjafri and Nova Arianto, the above difficulty is indelible.

"The local assistants are ready to help me at work. However, I myself have been under pressure since I officially accepted to be Indonesia's head coach," coach Shin Tae Yong admitted.

Currently Indonesia is at the bottom of Group G and the most possible task for him is to bring the national team of this country to the Asian Cup finals 2023.
